It is official! Guinness World Records has finally announced Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci for the longest cooking time by an individual with 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Hilda is now the new Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking time by an individual. The record was set in Rewa in central India by Chef Lata Tandon in 2019 at 87 hours and 45 minutes.

The challenge came with strict rules that should be followed throughout.
According to Guinness World Record, there was a miscalculation regarding Hilda’s resting breaks.

Anyone attempting a marathon receives a 5-minute break for every hour completed. Therefore, Hilda was not awarded the 100 hours she submitted initially.

Despite a few issues, Hilda finally achieves a new record of 93 hours and 11 minutes,
Hilda Baci is the New holder of the Guinness World Records title for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
