Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived Nigeria for a heartwarming visit to promote the Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games is a sports competition created by Harry will help uplift and empower sick and wounded military heroes and veterans.
This trip marks their first visit to the vibrant West African country Nigeria, which follows an invitation from the Nigerian military. They’ll get involved in various sports events and connect with local wounded soldiers and their families. The Invictus Games hold a special place for Nigerian soldiers, who have been bravely battling Boko Haram since 2009.
The Royal couple’s schedule is packed with inspiring activities, and that includes collaborations with local NGOs and a fabulous event celebrating women leaders, co-hosted by Meghan and the fabulous Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala from the WTO.
