The new Netflix documentary of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is now out.
Netflix’s official accounts released the first trailer for the upcoming docuseries. The documentary will be about the life of the Sussexes, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
For the past few years, they have been a controversial couple. It is not news that they abandoned the Royal family.
The six-episode docuseries, which premieres on December 8, will reveal “the other side” of their love story and the difficulties they encountered.
But the question on the mind of everyone is why? Why now? What happened behind closed doors?!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the famous couple formed by Prince Harry, the second son of the now King Charles III and late Lady Diana, and the actress Meghan Markle.
Harry and Meghan’s birth has sparked gossip and controversy in the English royal family. The actress herself confirmed this in a live interview with Oprah Winfrey. The decision to publish a docuseries about their life was considered questionable, but that didn’t stop them.
What is The Real Story Behind Harry and Meghan?
“No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors. I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” says Harry.
“Why did you want to make this documentary?”
“When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear the real story from us?” Says Meghan.
The couple decided to lean on a Netflix production to tell their story; beyond the gossip of the British tabloids and the speculation of the general public.
The Production Difficulties Around The Series
There were difficulties when producing the series. Concluding the project was not easy. The relationship between the first director, Garrett Bradley, and the couple wasn’t serene, as he stated in an interview with Variety.
According to rumours, Harry and Meghan prevented him from filming scenes of daily family activities in their California home with little Archie and Lilibet.
Therefore, director Liz Garbus was called, to whom Markle “entrusted the love story” between her and the prince.
Archetypes
In August, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, released her long-awaited podcast Archetypes on Spotify. The 12-episode series sheds light on what women across generations have to overcome.
